“ Geetar Restaurant was our go to place to enjoy a good Thali, when we resided in Sharjah. . It sadly closed down after a time as the building got demolished. . Recently learnt that its back, & we made our way to enjoy some wholesome Thali goodness.. . Same as before, humble staff members filling your plates till you eat to your hearts contentment & enjoy the best of Sabzi, Dal, Roti, Puris, pickles, Rice, Chaas & more. . At AED 14.00 the food is totally worth the experience & money. Expect a little waiting since the place is usally full but the staff make sure to have you settled in at the earliest. . Not only does Geetar offer a wide array of North Indian dishes, but their selection of sweets is also delightful. From classics to innovative treats, there's something for every palate. The location couldn't be more convenient, right near Subway, before Rollah, on Al Arouba Street. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Be sure to plan your visit wisely, as the weekends tend to get crowded. But trust me, it's well worth the rush. “ I had been to Geetar on Saturday night for dinner. The place was packed as expected on a weekend night. The food is quite tasty and so homely. We had unlimited thali which was priced at 12aed and consists of 2 veggies, 2 daal, soft n hot chapati n pooris, salad and chaas. Special mention to Yogesh bhai, who was our server for that evening. He was so humble and well spoken. He served us the food with so much care and made us feel as guests at his home:) They kept on refilling even before our plate seemed empty. However, we didn't waste the food and finished everything on the plate. Apart from the thali which was superb, we also ordered vada pav, pani puri, but our favourite was the thali.
